Start
Every team must be ready to race starting at noon on Saturday and 6AM on Sunday.

Finish
Teams must visit each day's mandatory checkpoint and return to the start/finish before each day's cutoff. That's it.

Scoring
The team with the most checkpoints, in the least amount of time, wins. Simple.

Mandatory Gear
There will be random gear checks on course. Teams will be penalized 4 hours for each missing item of gear.

Other
The start/finish will be at White Pines North Group Campground. Camping will be at White Pines South Group Campground (on FS477 near the horse stables)

Off-Limit Trails and Roads
All Seasonal trails, i.e. Cat Gap trail, Coontree Loop, Pink Beds
All Hiking Only trails. i.e. Art Loeb trail, Perry Cove trail, Bad Fork.

Parkway access from singletrack
Walk your bike once you are within the parkway boundary.
Walk until you reach the parkway.
Be careful on all pavement sections.

Lights
Red rear light must be used at all times when on pavement. White front light must be used at all times after dark.

Right of Way
Downhill riders yield to uphill riders.
All riders yield to hikers.
Stop for horses. Dismount and ask equestrian for further instructions.

Road Safety
DON'T SPACE OUT! Be Very Careful.
Ride single file.
Use hand signals to communicate with traffic.

Wear your helmet at all times while riding.
