Pisgah 36 Hour Adventure Race

February 19th-20th-21st

Every year an event comes along that tests mental and physical strengths of it's racers like no other. Pisgah Productions proudly presents the hardest (and most fun) thing you will do this year.....

On February 19th-21st 2010 the Pisgah 36 is a single-sport Adventure Race. It starts at midnight Fri/Sat and runs until noon Sunday. There will be six separate stages, each starting and finishing at Lower Cove Creek Campground - Pisgah National Forest, North Carolina. Each stage will have it's own unique format.

Teams 'in the running' should expect up to 70 +miles of riding with 12,000-15,000 feet of climbing each day.

There will be nothing at the checkpoints other than pre-existing landmarks. Every team must carry a reliable digital camera to photograph the landmarks as proof of being there.

The Pisgah 36 is going to be hard as hell. If you haven't experienced the one day version of a Pisgah Productions' event PMBAR, or haven't completed it, you shouldn't expect to be able to compete in the Pisgah 36.

There will be no amenities provided other than water from a well and compost toilets at the start/finish. Bring everything you may need, (shelter, food, water, firewood, beverages, etc.)

Registration is now OPEN!

(online registration closes Thursday, February 04, 2010 @ 11:59 PM)

The Pisgah 36 is the race formerly known as The Most Horrible Thing Ever. This time around it won't be so horrible!
